This client came to Broadmark Realty Capital with a half-completed construction project for a brewery in Richland, Washington. Broadmark credited the borrowers for their work to date, cashing out 15% of what they’d put into the project to boost their liquidity. In addition, Broadmark’s funding will cover the construction costs to complete the project, not including brewing equipment. The project is situated near the Pacific Northwest National Lab, is next to a 288-unit apartment project opening later in 2021, and is within proximity to a string of other businesses along Highway 240.
