Construction Draw Specialist

The Construction Draw Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Company’s financial plans and policies, and is directly responsible for its construction draw procedures and policies.

 

BASIC FUNCTION:  The Construction Draw Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Company’s financial plans and policies, and is directly responsible for its construction draw procedures and policies.  The Construction Draw Specialist will promote and uphold the mission, vision and values of the company.  Additionally, this specialist will strategically maintain and monitor a system of financial controls and accounting procedures that will ensure integrity of construction draw systems within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality levels. Demonstrates flexibility in responding to changes in assignment and job responsibility in a dynamic environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Reconcile draw requests to contract, working with borrower and contractor to resolve construction deficiencies/defects or funding issues, authorizing release of draw proceeds after confirmation of receipt of lien waivers, inspections and title company approvals.
  • Process administration of new construction loans.
  • Communicates and/or resolves issues with contractors, borrowers and title agents related to the completion of the construction project. Makes recommendations to management for credit approval extension of loan commitments.
  • Resolves customer-related issues throughout the construction/servicing process.
  • Maintains procedures/processes as job functions change with automation and process improvements.
  • Perform other duties, assignments and special projects that may be required.
